The La Rue House was built by Lumber Baron Lawrence Crane, ca. 1890. Your B&B hostess's grandparents, Dr. Frank and Nurse Ellen La Rue, opened Benzie County's first hospital here. We are located in the charming, historic village of Elberta on Betsie Bay.
